Current Work

This past February we went with a videographer to visit six of our network member businesses in three states across the Southeast: Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. From these visits we learned more about our members' needs, desires, inspirations and skills. We discovered that this is just the beginning, and there’s so much more that can be done. From this trip there are several hours of footage that will be edited down to a short film about our network. We hope to conduct landscape assessments with more of our network businesses in the United States and globally.

  • Unearthing, capturing, and reclaiming our value within fiber and textile supply networks. Cultivating reverence for earth-based production, and each other.

  • We are utilizing the landscape assessment as an additional entry point to learn from and with our members. This is an iterative process that result in continued co-creation opportunities.

  • Preserving our cultural agency in the agricultural, fiber, textile and fashion industries. Honoring our ancestor’s cultural traditions, and uplifting unique visions of the future.
